Dear GLOBE Partner,

The GLOBE Program Office is pleased to announce the selection of GLOBE India as our host for the 2014 GLOBE Learning Expedition (GLE). The GLE will take place in New Delhi during the first week of August 2014.

The 2014 GLE will provide an unparalleled opportunity for students to present their research to an international audience, to engage in field studies led by master teachers and to engage in unique educational activities. Teachers will share innovative ideas and challenges, attend GLOBE protocol and related professional development sessions and build connections for research efforts between schools worldwide.

More than 500 participants from 51 countries took part in the last GLE in Capetown, South Africa. GLE’s are among the highest profile events on the GLOBE calendar, showcasing the talent and diversity of the GLOBE community, and I welcome you to be part of this one.

Exact dates and more details will be made public soon.

I wish to thank all countries that submitted a proposal to host the 2014 GLE. I recognize the strenuous research and planning that goes into each proposal and greatly appreciate your efforts.

Dr. Tony Murphy, GLOBE Program Director
